On Thursday 16 May 2019 at 12:00 UTC the Internet Society Accessibility Special Interest Group (A11ySIG) marked Global Accessibility Awareness Day 2019 (GAAD) with its inaugural public webinar “Digital Accessibility for Persons With Disabilities“. A11ySIG founders and special guest Dan York of the Internet Society introduced the group and discussed this important aspect of the Internet Society’s vision that the Internet is for everyone.
